Steps

  1. 01

Look for the matching international-card logo.

  2. 02

Select Foreign card or an available language.

  3. 03

Enter the won amount and read every fee screen.

  4. 04

Decline an unwanted conversion if a won withdrawal is preferred.

  5. 05

Shield the PIN and complete the transaction.

  6. 06

Collect the card, cash, and receipt before walking away.

Before you start

  • Check the card’s overseas cash-withdrawal setting and PIN.
  • Know the daily limit and issuer fee.
  • Prefer an ATM in a bank, airport, station, or staffed store.

Easy points to confuse

  • Using an ATM without a supported network logo
  • Confusing won digits
  • Leaving before the card is returned

Practical example

If the card is retained or your account is debited without cash, do not repeat the withdrawal. Call the operator number on the ATM or receipt with machine ID, address, time, amount and receipt. Also use the transaction → Help in your issuer’s app or the card-back number to check status and investigation steps. Distinguish missing cash from a retained card; do not disclose your PIN.
