Gangbuk

Uidong Valley is the representative valley of Gangbuk and is located between Dobongsan Mountain and Bukhansan Mountain.

North Seoul Dream Forest, a very large park surrounded by six districts including Gangbuk and Dobong in Seoul, is a green park created on 680,000 m2 of land where Dreamland used to be, and is the third largest park in Seoul after World Cup Park and Olympic Park.

At the foot of Samgaksan, also called Bukhansan, the April 19 National Cemetery commemorates those who died during the April 19 Revolution of 1960 while resisting the authorities responsible for the fraudulent March 15 election.

The highest peak of Bukhansan, reached by a steep mountain hike rather than a casual city walk.

Following the valley for about 1 km west of Ui-dong toward Baegundae, Bukhansan's highest peak, visitors reach a temple gate with an inscription on its stone pillar: three days spent cultivating the mind become a treasure lasting a thousand years, while a hundred years spent coveting possessions turn to dust in a single morning.

Uiryeong Forest Culture Village is located at the foot of Bukhansan Mountain and is a place that preserves the beautiful natural environment and old atmosphere.
