Place story
Seosunla-gil is a road that connects 150-3 Jongno, Jongno-gu, Seoul to 26 Gwonnong-dong, and is the road traveled by the Sunla Army, which was in charge of public security in the old Joseon Dynasty. It is called ‘Seosunla-gil’ because it is located to the west of Sunlacheong, which patrolled Jongmyo Shrine. There are traditional popular tourist areas such as Ikseon-dong, Insa-dong, Bukchon, and Samcheong-dong nearby, and there are many things to enjoy such as restaurants, cafes, and workshops within Seosunla-gil. In particular, when flowers bloom in the spring and leaves change color in the fall, the scenery of the stone wall is beautiful, making it a popular place for dates and family outings.
