Place story
Yonsei-ro runs from Sinchon Station on Subway Line 2 to Yonsei University and is Sinchon's central street. Side streets spread from it like roots. After Seoul designated Yonsei-ro a walkable street in 1999, it carried out projects such as maintaining roadside trees and installing a Sinchon street map. Street performances let students and amateur artists show their creativity, giving this plaza-like road a youthful, lively atmosphere. Restaurants, fast-food outlets, coffee shops, and stores line the street, and street food is available in the afternoon. A beautiful mural is painted across from the Yonsei University road.

지하철 2호선 신촌역에서 연세대학교까지 이어지는 연세로는 신촌의 중심거리이다. 이 길을 중심으로 사잇길이 뿌리처럼 뻗어 있다. 연세로는 1999년 서울시가 걷고 싶은 거리로 지정한 이후 가로수 정비, 신촌거리 지도 부착 등의 조성사업을 했다. 학생, 아마추어 아티스트들의 다양한 재량을 발휘할 수 있는 거리공연이 열리고 있어 젊음과 활기가 넘치는 광장 같은 길이다. 각종 음식점, 패스트푸드점, 커피숍, 상점 등이 포진하고 있으며 오후가 되면 길거리 음식도 맛볼 수 있다. 연세대학교 도로 맞은편에는 아름다운 벽화가 그려져 있다.
