Kyobo Bookstore Gwanghwamun branch is Korea's first large bookstore that opened in 1981 at 1 Jongno 1-ga, in the center of Seoul, based on the founding philosophy of practical implementation of national education promotion, improvement of national spirit and culture by expanding the base of the reading population, and creation of a cultural space with social functions.
