Place story
Seoul Forest is a large urban park opened in 2005 on land once used for a royal hunting ground, waterworks, golf course, and Ttukseom racecourse. Its present landscape combines a culture-and-art park, ecological forest, wetland, and Han River waterfront. It works as both a destination and a walkable link between Seoul Forest Station and the cafés and galleries of Seongsu.

서울숲은 2005년 뚝섬 경마장과 골프장 일대에 조성된 대형 도시공원입니다. 과거 왕실 사냥터와 상수원, 경마장으로 쓰였던 장소의 흔적을 품고 있으며, 현재는 문화예술공원·생태숲·습지생태원·한강 수변 공간을 함께 이용할 수 있습니다. 성수 카페거리와 서울숲역을 걸어서 연결하기 좋아 산책, 피크닉, 전시와 지역 탐방을 한 일정에 묶기 좋습니다.
