Milmyeon
밀면
- Main ingredients
- Wheat-and-starch noodles, cold broth or chili dressing, pork, radish, egg
- Flavor and character
- Wheat-based noodles are served in cold broth or tossed with chili dressing, often topped with pork, pickled radish and egg. Their texture differs from buckwheat naengmyeon. Milmyeon is an everyday meal closely associated with Busan.
- How to eat it
- Choose mul for broth or bibim for dressed noodles, and check whether chili seasoning comes on top. These are wheat noodles: being an alternative to buckwheat naengmyeon does not make them gluten-free.
