Multigrain rice
잡곡밥
- Main ingredients
- Rice with grains or pulses such as barley, beans, red beans, millet or sorghum
- Flavor and character
- Rice is cooked with one or more other grains or pulses, or the mixture may contain no white rice. Black rice and beans change its color and bite. Unlike a fixed product recipe, japgokbap does not promise one standard five-grain blend.
- How to eat it
- If you avoid beans, barley or another ingredient, ask about the actual blend rather than judging by color. A restaurant may be able to substitute plain white rice.
