Place story
Gocheok Sky Dome is Korea's first dome baseball stadium built in Gocheok-dong and was completed in 2015. This place is operated as a complex space equipped with large-scale performances, sports facilities, and cultural spaces in addition to baseball games. In 2017, the WBC (World Baseball Classic) tournament was held for the first time in Korea, and as the home stadium of the professional baseball team Kiwoom Heroes, it is becoming a mecca for Korean baseball. Gocheok Sky Dome consists of 2 underground floors and 4 above-ground floors and has 16,783 spectator seats.

고척 스카이돔은 고척동에 건립된 대한민국 최초의 돔 야구장으로 2015년에 준공되었다. 이곳은 야구 경기 외 대형공연, 체육시설, 문화공간 등이 갖춰진 복합공간으로 운영된다. 2017년 국내 최초로 WBC(월드베이스볼클래식) 대회가 열렸으며 프로야구단인 키움 히어로즈의 홈구장으로서 한국 야구의 메카로 거듭나고 있다. 고척스카이돔은 지하 2층, 지상 4층으로 이루어져 있고 관람석은 16,783석이다. 공공 체육시설 확충과 다양한 행사가 가능한 문화시설 제공을 위해 국내 최초의 돔 야구장으로 건립된 고척스카이돔은 사계절 내내 기상 상황과 상관없이 체육·문화행사를 즐길 수 있는 대한민국 최고의 복합체육 문화시설이다. 또한 각종 행사 시 연계 행사가 열리기도 하는 보행광장과 야구를 테마로 구성한 야구테마거리가 고척스카이돔과 연결되어 있다. 그 외에도 수영장, 헬스장, 축구장, 농구장, 서울아트책보고 등을 갖추고 있다.
