Namsan Cable Car is a facility that allows you to climb from Hoehyeon-dong to the top of Namsan while enjoying a panoramic view of Seoul. It began operation on May 12, 1962 and continues to this day. The distance the cable car operates is approximately 600m from the Hoehyeon-dong platform to the Yejangdong-dong platform at the top of Namsan Mountain. There are two cable cars running simultaneously, one going up to the top of the mountain and the other coming down to the main building platform.

남산케이블카는 회현동에서 남산 꼭대기까지 서울의 풍광을 한눈에 조망하며 오를 수 있는 시설이다. 1962년 5월 12일 운행을 시작하여 오늘날까지 이어가고 있다. 케이블카가 운행하는 거리는 회현동 승강장에서 남산 꼭대기에 있는 예장동동 승강장까지 약 600m이다. 케이블카는 산 정상으로 올라가는 것과 본관 승강장을 향해 내려오는 것 두 대가 동시에 운행되고 있다. 정원이 꽉 찼을 경우에도 안전하게 이용할 수 있는 시설을 완비하고 있다. 명동역 1번 출구나 서울역 서울스퀘어 정문 앞에서 셔틀버스를 타면 남산케이블카 승강장으로 갈 수 있다.
