Before you start

  • First decide whether your destination is Seoul Station or an intermediate stop such as Hongik University, Digital Media City, or Gimpo Airport.
  • Choose Express for a reserved seat to Seoul Station; choose All-Stop for an intermediate stop or a Seoul-area subway connection.
  • First and last trains vary by station and weekday or holiday. Open the official Express or All-Stop timetable on this page and select your departure station for the current schedule.
  • Compare the whole journey to your accommodation: transfers, walking inside stations and the walk from the final exit, not just train time. With large bags, save the location of a suitable lift exit.
  • Before reserving Express, check changes and cancellation rules for flight delays. If you miss the booked train, show the ticket and booking reference to staff before boarding a different departure.
  • Hongik University, Gongdeok and Gimpo Airport are All-Stop stations. Express uses a separate reserved-seat ticket. Compare the full hotel journey, including waiting, walking and onward transfers; open the operator's current fare page before purchase.

Remember these points

  • Do not choose Express when your destination is an intermediate station rather than Seoul Station.
  • Do not treat an Express reserved ticket and an All-Stop transit-card tap as the same fare product.
  • Even after reaching the platform, confirm Express or All-Stop and the destination on the display.

Quick destination guide

Example: choose All-Stop for Hongik University, Digital Media City, or Gimpo Airport. Choose Express when Seoul Station is your final destination and you want a reserved seat. If you continue by subway from Seoul Station, follow the line color and Transfer signs to the subway gates.
